Body acceptance is radical in today’s society, where we are taught to criticize, hate, and chronically try to change our bodies. Rejecting cultural beauty standards and definitions of worth is brave and difficult.

Finding compassion and peace in our bodies is powerful and healing. This group is for individuals who would like to embark on a journey toward a new relationship with their bodies and themselves.

Together, group members will participate in activities designed to deepen their compassion for their bodies and facilitate new, more empowered, more embodied, relationships with themselves.

Group therapy at Balance Health & Healing has helped me find my voice, gain confidence, and empower me to follow my dreams in a way I never thought possible.

Group gave me belonging, and with that belonging, I found my voice. I believe in the power of my voice.

Group therapy is a safe place where I can be completely authentic and vulnerable with others that care and understand what it's like living with body image struggles. It's so nice to know that I'm not alone!
